Administrative Assistant – Science Learning Partnership

Start Date: November 2022 (subject to pre-employment checks)

Salary: Grade 2 SP 3 (FTE £20,812 / Actual £5,643.96 per annum)

Contract Type: Part time (12 hours per week, 38 weeks per year), fixed term to 31 August 2023

Many of our staff work flexibly in different ways including part-time working. For this role we are open to discussing the possibility of flexible hours and start/end times. Please talk to us at the interview stage about the flexibility you would like and we will explore what is possible for this role.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our successful and over-subscribed school.  The successful candidate will:

  • Provide a high-quality administrative service to the Science Learning Partnership
  • Undertake relevant tasks in relation to the administration and dissemination of information, booking management and invoicing
  • Provide routine clerical support e.g. filing, phone calls, email, social media
  • Undertake typing, word-processing and other IT based tasks
  • Manage online booking systems
  • Operate office equipment e.g. photocopier, computer, telephone
