Science Teacher

Contract Type: Full time, fixed term to 31 August 2023
Salary: MPR/UPR (£28,000 - £43,685 p/a)
Samuel Ward Academy are looking to appoint a dynamic teacher to join the Science department. This post would be suitable for an ECT or a more experienced teacher.
We are looking for staff of the highest calibre who have an excellent understanding of the subject and have the ability to motivate, challenge and inspire our students and are capable of making a positive contribution to teaching and learning at Samuel Ward Academy.
In return, we can offer excellent induction and training to support professional development to all at a school level.
Samuel Ward is a highly successful oversubscribed 11-18 co-educational academy. We are situated in pleasant surroundings on the western edge of Suffolk, within easy reach of Cambridge and Bury St Edmunds. We benefit from excellent facilities, and our new £10m building opened in April 2019.
