As a popular and successful school, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking teacher to contribute to the further success of our school.

This post would be suitable for part-time or full-time working, and you could be a specialist teacher of Food Nutrition, Technology or Engineering. Training and support would be available to help you teach flexibly at key stage 3 in addition to your specialism.

We also have a design component to our key stage 3 curriculum so would also consider art teachers willing to retrain.

You will be required to:

  • To ensure that all groups of students make outstanding progress
  • To develop or contribute to the range of activities and support for all students

Therefore, we are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience of teaching technology, engineering or Food Nutrition at Key Stages 3-5
  • Has a record of raising attainment of their students
  • Has an up to date knowledge of curriculum developments, current education policy and progression routes for students.
  • Is committed to high standards and ensuring that all groups of students make progress
  • Is willing to work flexibly
  • Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Is able to solve problems and be proactive
  • Has an excellent sense of humour

We are looking to appoint an inspiring teacher to join either our excellent technology and/or Food Nutrition teaching teams. The post will involve the teaching to age ranges personalised to the strengths of the individual teacher. Therefore we are looking to employ a highly qualified teacher with a record of delivering high quality lessons with excellent student outcomes.

In September 2015 our school moved into an amazing new building. Technology and food are fully resourced with excellent facilities. This post offers an excellent opportunity to a colleague at any stage of their career who is passionate about making a difference for our wonderful students.
