In May 2017, Newmarket Academy was rated 'Good' by Ofsted. We invite you to join us as we move this good school to 'excellence'.
The core aims/values of this school are:
We want to be the best school in the area. We are looking to recruit an ambitious and innovative colleague to play a major role in that journey.
Our community believes in our vision and supports our journey. In the autumn of 2019, the school completed a multi-million-pound refurbishment project sponsored by the generosity of the local community. Every classroom now has state of the art interactive whiteboards and sound systems. The refurbishment has provided the school with brand new computers for staff and students, a new library with over 20,000 books in a state-of-the-art building with a superb new SEND area, Engineering department, audio-visual equipment, and tennis courts.
We currently have 17 primary academies, 10 secondary academies and three special schools in our family of schools. All members of the Unity Schools Partnership staff subscribe to a set of shared values, principles and operational processes to ensure quality education for all our young people. Our central belief is that every young life is special – open to possibility, gifted with the potential to change the world for the better. Our ambition is to unlock the potential of all children, remove the barriers to aspiration and ensure that all our children succeed.
