Contract Hours: 3 days (0.6 FTE), or more for a teacher who can also teach an additional subject

Start Date: January 2022, or soon after

Grade: MPR/UPR (£25,714 - £41,604 per annum)

Responsible to: Head of English

As a popular and successful school, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking teacher to contribute to the further success of our school.

This would be to provide maternity cover for a colleague teaching mainly Key Stage 3 and 4, and the possibility of A Level for a suitable candidate.

It is a flexible opportunity that would suit a teacher either relocating or rejoining the profession.

You will be required to:

  • To ensure that all groups of students make outstanding progress
  • To develop or contribute to the range of activities and support for all students

The post will involve the teaching of English to age ranges personalised to the strengths of the individual teacher. Therefore we are looking to employ a well qualified teacher with a record of delivering high quality lessons with excellent student outcomes.

In September 2015 the school moved into an amazing new building. English is taught in suited rooms across one floor by a fantastic, supportive and experienced team. Standards are high with excellent levels of student motivation and positive attitudes to learning and the post offers an outstanding opportunity to colleagues at any stage in their career.
