Salary: MPS-UPS (£25,714- £41,604)

As a popular and successful school we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hard-working Teacher or Instructor of A Level Psychology.

We also have a separate Sixth Form centre for our thriving Key Stage 5 students. The number of students choosing to join us at age 16 from other providers continues to grow, leading to us increasing our range of courses and number of Key Stage 5 teachers. This is an excellent opportunity for any teacher, at any stage of their career, with a passion for psychology to develop their teaching and continue their career progression.

Our Sixth Form teaching and leadership team is experienced, very supportive and expectations for students are high.

We continue to invest in high quality professional development and provide a range of employee benefits. We are closely linked to the Unity Research School and lead the way in many local and national initiatives including being an EdTech Demonstrator School and an ArtsMark platinum school. We provide excellent care and support for our staff and students. There are Lead Practitioners within the school to support colleagues in continually improving their practice. We also regularly welcome trainee teachers and are a hub for local professional development and the dissemination of research.

The school and Sixth Form centre is located just south of Sudbury in Suffolk and is within easy reach of Colchester, Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds.

Many of our staff work flexibly in different ways including part-time working. For this role we are open to discussing the possibility of reduced hours of flexible start and end times. Please talk to us at the interview stage about the flexibility you would like and we will explore what’s possible for this role.

During this period of on site support for children of key workers we are still open and staff will be available to speak to you. The interview process will be well supported to be personal, fair and flexible and is likely to be conducted on site in line with our current risk assessment.
